Register Your Lake Association!

The MI Shoreland Stewards website offers lake associations the opportunity to register on our website.  This is a great way to connect with your members and promote healthy shoreland practices.

Are you interested in?

  • Connecting with residents around the lake?
  • Recognizing landowners for practicing healthy shoreland management?
  • Knowing how many landowners are participating?
  • Providing a customized Shoreland Steward Sign?

Once your lake association registers you will:

  • Have your own lake association page on the Shoreland Stewards website that the public can view.
  • You will be able to manage your own account and contact information.
  • An icon on your lake will show up on the Michigan map on the Shoreland Stewards website.
  • Be listed in a drop down box in the participant registration process
  • Receive an e-mail notification  when a property owner completes the survey.

Shoreland Stewards Outreach Materials:

Registered lake associations have access to outreach materials to help promote the program to property owners on your lake.

  • Shoreland Steward Sign files are available for you to add your logo if you choose.  The MNSP logo needs to stay on the sign though there are some small areas to add your logo.
  • Shoreland Stewards article for your newsletter
  • Shoreland Stewards promotional ads
  • Shoreland Stewards mailer

If you are interested in having your lake association registered on the MI Shoreland Stewards site please contact  Eli Baker, at the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council.
