Organization Profile

For more than 75 years, the Glen Lake Association has worked to preserve, protect and improve the Glen Lake/Crystal River Watershed. Its members (riparian and non-riparian)  in conjunction with the Michigan Lakes and Streams Association and other environmental groups, have worked to maintain the pristine water quality of the Glen Lake/Crystal River Watershed.  The association, created in 1945 currently counts as it members, over 1/2 of the total riparian owners around the shores and banks of the Glen Lakes, Fisher Lakes, Brooks Lake and the Crystal River, as well as many other watershed supporters.

GLA Organization

The Glen Lake Association’s organization consists of the Board of Directors and various standing and ad hoc committees established to deal with on going issues and services concerning the Glen Lake Area, as well as other items that arise from time to time.
