Mission

The Duck Lake Association, Inc. is an organization of riparian residents of the Duck Lake area.  The Association was formed to improve communications among residents and serve as a voice with the Clarence Township Board of Trustees and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) in matters that affect the quality of life in and around the Duck Lake area.

Activities include, a) Monitoring for and treatment of invasive weeds, b) Protection of Duck Lake’s wetlands, and c) Monitoring and Improvement of the water quality of Duck Lake.

Other activities are publication of several member newsletters each year, maintenance of a web site, e-mail chains to inform members, and publication of a biennial member directory.

Social Activities include an annual around-the-lake garage sale, an annual boat parade, an annual golf outing and “Paddle the Duck”, a Kayak event.
