The Lime Lake Association through its members (riparian and non-riparian) works to maintain the water quality of Lime Lake and the Good Harbor Bay Watershed.  The association was formed in the early 1960’s and currently counts as its members a majority of the total riparian owners around the lake, as well as many other watershed supporters.
